“Rheumatology. Interdisciplinary approach “

Academy “Rheumatology. Interdisciplinary Approach “, which offers young doctors who specialize in rheumatology and immunology, a great opportunity for training. Lectures by well-known German experts and practical classes will help participants develop their skills in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases. In addition, visits to a number of research institutions operating at the Charité Clinic in Berlin are planned. A large cultural and excursion program complements the two-week summer academy.
The Summer Academy is designed for graduate students, doctoral students and young teachers of medical universities in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia and Armenia. Age of participants up to 35 years.
The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The 20 scholarships cover the costs of accommodation, meals (breakfast and lunch), theoretical and practical training courses, as well as a cultural and excursion program. Additionally, upon arrival in Leipzig, a fixed amount is paid as compensation for travel expenses.
The application is submitted by e-mail and must contain the following documents.
– Completed and signed application form with a photo attached;
– Notarized copies of certificates of education (diploma of higher education with appendix or record book / academic certificate for the entire period of study) and their certified translation into German or English;
– One letter of recommendation from a teacher / professor of medical school. The signature of the person recommending the person must be certified by the seal of the university;
– The level of proficiency in German (not less than B1 according to the European system of levels of proficiency in a foreign language) must be confirmed by one of the following certificates: certificates of passing the OnDaF exam, certificates of the Institute. Goethe, TestDaF, DSH, DSD II or ÖAD. In exceptional cases, other references to German language courses will also be considered.
